On May 18th, ITZY officially released their album ‘Motto’ with the title track under the same name. The upbeat and heartfelt track sent waves of positive reactions from both the fans and general public alike.
The track soared within its first day of release, even amassing more than 4 thousand likes on MelOn in it’s first hour. Becoming their #1 most liked song on the platform after dethroning ‘SNEAKERS’.

Yeji Updates Fans On Her Current Health Condition
It was recently announced that Yeji will have limited participation in upcoming concerts due to a herniated disc that could injure her further if not taking proper rest and care. With the news unexpected, many fans were worried for the artist and expressed their support and love for Yeji.
However, Yeji reassured fans claiming she was perfectly fine and fans can stop worrying, “My back is totally fine. I know you’re worried about me, but now you can stop worrying for sure.”
ITZY Reacts To Fans’ Tough Battle For Music Show Win
On May 26th, pre-voting for the music show Music Bank was on its last day of voting and fans banded together to accumulate as many votes as possible to secure a win. Unfortunately, the opposing artist won the pre-vote and many fans were disappointed the results didn’t go how they expected.
Yet, the comradery supporters showed did not go unseen, with Yeji thanking fans for their hard work.
“I know how hard MIDZY worked for us […] I was looking at the voting screen earlier, and seeing the fan-vote score, I could really feel MIDZY’s love, so it made me smile thank you.”
The groups final vote count totaled at over 1.7 million votes, surprassing their previous track ‘TUNNEL VISION’ with more than 1.4 million votes.
